2020 Bucket List

I've never actually written one of these before, but I figured that after I'd written my 2019 reflection post, that I would make a list of things that I want to do in 2020 so that I can reflect on that next year!

It's no secret that we like to go on family days out, and just be busy (well, Max might not agree with that...), so I'd like to see how many of these things that we can get ticked off within the next 12 months...

Places that I want to visit in 2020 - I'll be ticking these off as and when we complete them, so keep checking back to see what we get up to!

  • Alton Towers
  • Chatsworth House
  • Blenheim Palace
  • Cannock Chase
Well, that's the first place ticked off of my bucket list for 2020!

We decided to plan a day out with Laura and her gang, which so happened to be our first meet up of the year too.

As you can imagine, as it's on my bucket list, we haven't ever visited before, however a lot of people I know have. So, I'm glad that we've finally been able to go and even better that we completed the Gruffalo trail (bar the exception of the Little Brown Mouse...oops!). It was a really lovely forest, and the trail was just the right size for Edith to walk. I'd love to go back at some point to try out the Go Ape!

  • London - London Aquarium; the Natural History Museum; the Science Museum & Bubba Gump
  • Center Parcs
  • Disneyland Paris
  • Colchester Zoo
  • Sandringham House
  • The beach
  • Visit a cat cafe
  • Strawberry and pumpkin picking

Throughout the year, I have a few personal things that I'd like to tick off of the bucket list..
  • Read more - My aim on Goodreads is to read 24 books - so 2 books a month, which I think is pretty achievable, especially after I was bought a new Kindle for Christmas. So, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some more books. I'm hoping that I can go above 24 books, but I'll keep it realistic with 2 a month.
  • Spend more time outside - I'm hoping with all of the places that I'd like to try and visit this month that it will mean that we will spend more time outside. Edith loves being out and about so I'd like to make more of an effort to go for walks, or just to the park.
  • Keep on top of blogging - Towards the end of 2019, I'd lost some of my get up and go when it came to my blog. I love sitting and writing my posts, but I went through a phase of not knowing what to write, and wondering if people were interested in reading, etc. But I sat down and had a thought to myself that I'm writing my blog for me. It's my outlet, and I do enjoy writing. So, I'm hoping to keep regularly posting.
  • More sensory activities with Edith - We love sitting down and doing different activities. Anything with painting is a plus for Edith, so I'd like to find some new activities to do with her.
  • Meet up more with friends - Some of my friends live far away, so it would be lovely to be able to schedule in some more dates throughout the year.
Overall, I'd love to have as happy a year as we did last year. To continue being happy, and having our family is as good as it gets - I don't care how cliche that is!

Wishing you all a very happy 2020!

Thanks, lovelies.
